Delete your account and data
In the app
First update Money Pool to the latest version on Google Play.
- Open Money Pool and tap "Me" at the bottom.
- Scroll to the very end and tap the red "Delete account".
- Read what will be deleted, tap "Delete permanently", then choose the Google account you sign in with once more to confirm it's you.
Deletion starts as soon as you confirm, and you're taken back to the sign-in screen when it's done. It needs an internet connection; without one nothing is deleted and you can try again later.
What gets deleted
- Your account (Firebase Authentication) and the name, email address and photo URL stored with it.
- All your records: every reading's accounts, amounts, income, spending and bill settings.
- The fish's name and on/off setting.
- This phone's data for that account: reminder history, the spending hint and any first-fill draft.
What is kept
- This phone's "Unlock to open" setting, which belongs to the phone rather than the account.
- Crashlytics crash reports are deleted automatically after at most 90 days; AdMob keeps data under Google's policies.
Signing out does not delete anything. Deleting your account can't be undone; signing in with the same Google account afterwards starts a new, empty account.
If you can't use the app
Email abuli.studio.com@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Money Pool account", and include the email address of the Google account you sign in with. Once we confirm it's you, we delete the cloud data listed above within 30 days and reply to let you know.
